The Lobo's - We have a date!

I had my weekly check up at Mt. Sinai on Tuesday. It looks like baby is holding up fine, so far!

Her head is where it should be, engagement is definitely visible. I spoke with Dr. Kingdom this time and he gave us an inducement date of June 7th, which is a day after my original due date. I was pretty relieved as I was anticipating the inducement to occur much earlier and kept worrying myself if baby would be strong enough by then.

If baby decides to make an appearance before this time, both Mt. Sinai and Sick Kids will be ready. It would actually be better as it would natural and not induced, but I'm praying that our little girl holds on till the required date. I know she's doing well, but I just want her to be a full term baby, anything that will give her more strength to cope with what's to come after delivery.

The tension is rising a bit. We are really excited to see our baby girl but we're so not looking forward to seeing her go through all the surgeries. There are quite a few commercials for Sick Kids on TV and the stories are devastating, I can't help but cry everytime I watch them, knowing that our baby will have to go through the same. We are praying for her to be strong and for ourselves as well. Little Amayah; our little monkey, we can't wait to see you.
