Cassiana is here!!
Baby Cassiana was born on June 22 at 9:16 PM. She weighs 6 lbs 11 1/2 oz and is 19 1/2 inches long. Praise the Lord, she is doing well!! The team of doctors will do more exams and will decide near the end of the week what the plan of action will be for her. The hope is that she will have her first surgery early next week.

Great news guys! CONGRATS! We have been thinking about you constantly these past 24 hours. It is great to hear Baby Cassiana is doing well. Praise the Lord! The Pediatric Cardiology Staff is amazing, and the surgeon is one of the best in the nation. Rest assured they will take great care of your precious little miracle.
We will be in IA City next Thursday for one of Olivia's appointments. We would love to stop and say hello. If you guys are still in the NICU they won't allow Livi in, so I may just drop something off. However, if you guys are up in the PICU we could at least stop outside your door and introduce ourselves face-to-face. We know a majority of the staff up there and visit them on occasion. (C;
However, I know how hectic things can be the week of surgery and if you prefer no visitors that's fine. Just let us know.
We will be keeping you all in our thoughts and prayers as you begin this journey.
