Thanks Kristy, that means a lot. I can just imagine how it would feel to hear the news right after delivery. I'm thnankful in this case that we found out before delivery, so the doctors are prepared and it's not a sudden shock the day of delivery. But there's always the sinking feeling that it may not turn out the way we want it to, so i think right now it's just the anticipation what will happen on that day.
We're reading as much as we can about taking care of a child with HLHS, but i know it will never fully prepare us for the real thing. Thanks again for your support, i'm sure i'll be reaching out to you soon.
